Carmen J. Rotolo, CFP, EA is the sole practitioner of this small financial planning and tax accounting firm. Carmen has an MSEE degree and has applied mathematics and analytical skills for over 30 years as an electrical engineer, 27 1/2 of which were at a national research institution. During this time he prepared personal income tax returns on a part time basis. As an Enrolled Agent he is admitted to practice before the IRS with the same rights and privileges granted to Certified Public Accountants and Attorneys. He completed course work in financial planning and by examination was granted the CFP designation in 1993. Carmen now applies his analytical skills as a Certified Financial Planner and a Registered Investment Advisor. He has served on the Advisory Board of the UFG Institute for Professional Education (IPE) which, in conjunction with Saint Xavier University and Marquette University, offers classes qualifying students to sit for the CFP Certification Exam. In addition to serving on its board, he has taught financial planning classes for IPE. Carmen specializes in lifetime retirement planning, asset management, and integrating tax deferred assets into an estate plan. Services are provided on a fee-only basis and initial consultations are free.
